Available for Exhibition Submissions

Seeking artists for solo or small group exhibition opportunities. Open to reproducible media and works on paper or textile including all forms of printmaking, photography and bookworks. Shows will be limited to wall hung work, with preference given to printmaking practices or mixed media including print. While we support artists being paid for their work, we are not in a position at this time to provide artist fees for exhibiting. In lieu, we will provide a staffed exhibition at cost, with curatorial and installation support as needed, general liability insurance, as well as sales of any applicable work shown without commission (with only a small processing fee for payments made by credit card). Opening/closing receptions, including liquor licencses, are at the expense of the exhibiting artists/curators.

Exhibition Details

 

  • Fee of $300 inclusive for up to 4 week exhibition to be scheduled by the studio. 

             *Cost covers staffing during publicly open hours determined at the point of booking, as well as viewings by appointment.  The exhibiting artist is welcome to be present during open hours but is not required

  • Approx. 35 linear feet of wall across 4 walls. Noting that the area marked as 5ft is a brick wall, and has pre-drilled holes.

  • An artist reception date TBD between artist and studio

  • Online promotion of artist work and exhibition

  • Any additional costs for printed material, reception SOP permits, food and beverages will be the responsibility of the exhibiting artist.

  • your up to date C.V., including 4-6 photos of the work you intend to show or a similar style

  • A short explanation of what you wish to show and why you think it would be a good fit.

  • The preferred dates/date ranges you are looking to exhibit

  • A 50% non-refundable deposit will be required upon acceptance of application.

Please note the deadline is ongoing and submissions will be considered by committee on a monthly basis. Contact us for a larger image of the floorplan. We will reply to everyone who submits, but our response may be delayed depending on the timing of the submission.
